Eighth grade students from across Humble ISD enjoyed a special evening at the High School Hacks and Club Fair at Kingwood Park High School on April 25. The 8th graders were able to get advice about high school from high school students who are members of the Superintendents Student Advisory Council. They were also able to learn about various high school clubs at booths staffed by club members.

The Student Advisory Council meets throughout the year and is comprised of Humble ISD's students who were chosen as Students of Character in the eigth grade. At the end of each school year, each middle school selects one boy and one girl who best exemplify good character traits. Those students are invited to become members of the Superintendent's Advisory Council.

Members of the Council are active participants throughout their high school years, providing a forum for Dr. Fagen to address topics such as graduation requirements, school culture, college/career readiness and more.
