District Elementary and Secondary Science & Engineering Fair Results

Hundreds of elementary students demonstrated their creative thinking and scientific skills at the 2019 Humble ISD Elementary Science & Engineering Fair on March 30, at Kingwood Park High School. Lyndi Eargle, Pine Forest Elementary fifth-grader, is the Elementary Science and Engineering Fair winner. The Science Fair is an all-day event where students present their science experiments to volunteer judges. The main sponsor for the Elementary Science Fair is Humble Intercontinental Rotary. In addition to project winners, a contestant was chosen by random drawing for their school to receive a science field trip. This year Harper Iocono, a first-grade student at Groves Elementary, won a field trip for her class. Ryan Hartuang, Kingwood High School junior, is the Secondary Science and Engineering Fair winner. After winning the District Secondary Science Fair he moved on to the Houston Regional Science Fair, where he recieved third place in Physics and Astronomy.
