Humble ISD Education Foundation offers free screening of SCREENAGERS
The Humble ISD Education Foundation, Big Ocean Women and multiple community sponsors are partnering to offer a FREE screening to the public of SCREENAGERS, an award-winning film that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts struggles over social media, video games and academics. The film offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world.
Because all tickets for this screening were claimed in 24 hours, we have added a second location. You now have the choice of attending the screening at either Humble High School or Kingwood High School on Wednesday, April 17th. If you currently hold tickets at Humble and would like to now attend the screening at Kingwood, we ask that you PLEASE cancel your original order so that we can accommodate more guests at Humble High School. You can cancel your order by going to the Eventbrite email you received or calling Community Development at (281) 641-8140.
If you haven't registered for free tickets yet and would like to attend the screening at Humble High, register for the waitlist and as tickets are released, you will receive an email from Eventbrite once you are confirmed with tickets.
At both locations, doors open at 5 p.m. and screening starts at 6 p.m. Dr. Ruston, who is the filmmaker and a Stanford trained doctor, will lead a Q&A following the screening at Humble High School and this Q&A will be live streamed to Kingwood High School. Children are welcome to attend. The film is appropriate for students in 5th grade and up.
Registration is required to attend this free screening. Register online for tickets now.
