Humble ISD is looking for volunteers to judge elementary science fairs
Humble ISD will host the district elementary science fair from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at Kingwood Park High School. Setup will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 29. Several of our elementary schools are hosting a campus science fair before the district-wide elementary science fair on March 30.
This year the science fair is in need of more volunteer judges. In addition to scientific exploration through traditional science projects, students are now able to complete scientific investigations. This means there will be two fairs happening simultaneously. Training will be provided at each fair.
Parents of elementary students in Humble ISD may not participate as a judge at the district-level science fair. All campus science fairs will begin at 8 a.m. and end by 2 p.m. If you have an interest in helping students experience science and scientific inquiry, please contact Dr. Aaron Clevenson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
