Students Helping Veterans: Big Heroes, Tiny Homes is a collaborative initiative between Kingwood Park High School and Summer Creek High School in Humble ISD. Students from these schools are taking on a seemingly impossible challenge... homelessness. Specifically, they are wanting to create a community for homeless Veterans. They have presented their ideas with the Mayor of Humble and the Mayor of Houston, and are well on their way to building their first home, but are looking to partner with businesses and non-profits to make this a sustainable solution.
