The FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award is an achievement obtained by law enforcement professionals who have completed three Leadership Institute courses. Each course presents different areas of leadership. The first course is Supervisory Leadership, giving first line supervisors the knowledge of what it is to lead their front line officers and complete the objective handed down from the command staff. The second course, Command Leadership, gives the student the ability to take commands from the executive level and rely those objectives to the supervisory personnel to accomplish goals that have been set. The final course, Executive Leadership, provides the new leader with overall department leadership and responsibility. This is accomplished by studying the experiences of their instructors who are former law enforcement leaders, such as retired and current chiefs of police, handpicked from the FBI LEEDA Institute staff.
