Join Humble ISD in the Heart Walk
Humble ISD is participating in the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk. Humble ISD has participated in the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk since 2013 and our district has been named the Top School District in the state of Texas for four consecutive years! Last year, the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk was canceled, allowing the community to focus on recovery and rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey. This year the Heart Walk is back and once again we will be partnering with the American Heart Association.
This fun-filled, non-competitive 5-K walk will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, on the Lone Star College-Kingwood campus. It’s free to walk and it’s free to register. Registered walkers can collect donations, including online contributions, benefiting the American Heart Association.
You can support this initiative by joining one our Humble ISD teams or by making a donation to a team.
The American Heart Association will recognize the Humble ISD elementary school, middle school, high school and building with the greatest participation rate. Participation rate is calculated by registered walkers divided by student enrollment to be fair among schools of varying sizes. The American Heart Association also recognizes the top fundraising campuses.
