Police Officer William Joseph is Officer of The Year

Humble ISD Police Officer William Joseph received the Outstanding Service Award at the annual Peace Officer Luncheon on Sept. 18 at the Humble Civic Center. Officer Joseph is the campus police officer at Kingwood Park High School. He has fostered relationships with school staff as well as students. KPHS students nominated Officer Joseph as the 2017-18 Homecoming King because of his ability to interact with, mentor and be a positive role model. Officer Joseph has been commended for his traffic control at Woodland Hills Drive and Chanay. He is willing to work overtime, especially on last-minute events. He also assisted in teaching training classes for the Police Department as well as outside law enforcement agencies.

The event was presented by Light of the World Christian Fellowship, and Joiner Architects sponsored the awards. This luncheon salutes the everyday heroes that serve and protect our community.
