Absences & Tardies
To report your child's absence, please call the ESE Absence Line at 281-641-3103. Leave a message with your child's name, date of absence, teacher's name, and reason for the absence. You may also send in a written note or email shannon.wild@humbleisd.net. You may call to arrange pick-up of your child's homework after three days absence.
Students are considered tardy if they are not in their classrooms when the tardy bell rings at 8:00. Students who arrive on time tend to feel more organized and ready for instruction. Please remember that late arrivals are a disruption to classroom instruction and are now a part of your child's permanent records. They will be recorded on their report cards.
