Humble ISD students selected to All-State Ensemble

Humble ISD students were recognized at the May 8 Board of Trustees meeting for earning a spot in one of fifteen Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Ensembles. All-State students participated in three days of rehearsals directed by nationally recognized conductors during the annual state TMEA Clinic/Convention in February. The students performed the musical selections before thousands of attendees.


More than 68,000 students throughout the state competed for the honor of performing at the TMEA convention. Only 1,780 students were selected.
