Three judges visited Atascocita High School Court System and Law Enforcement students on February 23. Justice of the Peace Don Coffee, State District Judge Maria Jackson and Justice of the Peace Joe Stephens each spoke to students about their journey to becoming a judge and answered student questions about their experiences. Also attending were Humble ISD Board of Trustee members Angela Conrad, Charles Cunningham, Martina Dixon, Nancy Morrison and Robert Sitton.
“The students heard from three different judges with very different backgrounds,” Reggie Spivey, Assistant Principal said. “They are real people with real problems, but they endured through their struggles to become what they are today. I see the same potential in these students.”
