Pictured from left are School Board President Robert Sitton, Humble ISD Risk Management Specialist Sarah Anthony, Ross Sterling Middle School Bookkeeper Shannon Pfeiffer and Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo.

Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:

Ruben DeLeon, — Northbelt Elementary, Head Custodian
NBE’s Super staffer of the month of May is Mr. Ruben Deleon. Mr. Deleon is one of our dedicated custodial staff whom works diligently to maintain our facility. At North Belt Elementary one of the comments we often receive is that our campus has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Mr. DeLeon or “Mr. Ruben”, as we like to call him here, and our other custodial staff work hard to ensure that our campus is continuously clean and well maintained. Mr. Ruben goes above and beyond to ensure that the campus is impeccably maintained. Mr. Ruben has stepped up to work additional hours to cover when needed to keep the campus running smooth as ever. Mr. Ruben not only is always present, he is here always with a smile on his face for every student, parent and staff member. Thank you so much Mr. Ruben for your wonder service to our campus.

Shannon Pfeiffer, — Ross Sterling Middle School, Bookkeeper
Shannon works really hard and is always helpful. She goes above and beyond to assist others and does her job in addition to taking on many other tasks that are not related to her day-to-day duties.

Sarah Anthony — Administration, Risk Management
Sarah works in the Risk Management Department. She is the key contact for Workers’compensation, accidents, safety training and much more. Sarah is very friendly to everyone she works with. She deals with both internal and external customers and always conducts herself in a professional manner. When dealing with employees with a worker’s compensation claim she not only provides them with all the information required for treatment she also follows back up with them to see how they are feeling. She is a very compassionate individual and Humble ISD is fortunate to have her. Sarah goes above and beyond her duties and is always willing to learn new things and take on new tasks.
