Humble ISD Math Olympiad program winners of Math Wars

 
Humble ISD middle school students competed in the 6th Annual Middle School Math Wars, part of the Math Olympiad program, at the James Eggers Instructional Support Center on May 18. Students from five middle school campuses participated in this year's competition, called "Math Wars" with a Star Wars theme. Team winners were Riverwood Middle as Math Wars Champion, Creekwood Middle School in 2nd place, and Timberwood Middle School in 3rd place. Individual honors went to 1st place champion Kaya Unalmis from RMS, 2nd place winner Daniel Alexander from CMS, and 3rd place winner Daphne Han from RMS. Photos of the winners are included below.
