First Annual Humble ISD oLIMBic Games on May 13 in partnership with LIMBS international

1st Annual oLIMBics Games

The first annual Humble ISD oLIMBic Games is a district-wide Service Learning event for high school students on May 13 in partnership with LIMBS international.

LIMBS provides low-cost prosthetic legs to amputees in the most impoverished places on the planet.  The oLIMBic Games will allow students to compete in obstacle and ropes courses, minute to win it games, and team competitions with fellow world-changing high schoolers from across the district.  For $25, students will get to participate in all oLIMBic activities, an event t-shirt, and entrance to the amazing dance/after party.  Most beautiful of all, participants will get the knowledge that they helped restore the dignity and livelihood of amputees all over the world.  100% of funds raised will go directly to purchasing and fitting amputees with their new leg, and for every $300, LIMBS will not only deliver a leg to an amputee but will return with their picture and story, so our students can literally see the lives they have changed!
