Humble ISD is asking all parents to complete an anonymous Parent Satisfaction Survey. The survey is available online through April 3. For those preferring a paper copy, the survey can be obtained from any campus office.
District and campus leaders will analyze response to determine what is working well in schools and areas that may need improvement. The survey has 17 statements that parents mark as strongly agree, agree, mixed feelings, disagree, or strongly disagree. There also are three opened-ended questions where parents can write responses, including naming anyone at their child’s school whom they would like to recognize for good work.
“This is a quick and easy way for parents to help schools,” Jamie Mount, Humble ISD spokesperson, said. “It takes just a few minutes to complete the survey but makes a big difference. Principals and teachers want to thoroughly understand the experiences and opinions of their students’ parents. We are asking all parents to help by completing this quick, anonymous survey.”
Parents with more than one child in a school should complete only one survey. Parents with children in more than one school should complete a survey for each school. Survey results are an essential part of the District’s Strategic Improvement Plan Scorecard and will help leaders develop priorities and plans. Humble ISD has conducted an annual parent satisfaction survey for at least the past four years.
