Community Resource Credit Union sponsors Super Staffers of the Month

Humble ISD’s Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on January 12. Thanks to Community Resource Credit Union for sponsoring this month's Super Staffers! Pictured above are School Board President Robert Sitton, ISC Coordinator of Affective Education Matt Smith, Foster Elementary 3rd Grade Teacher Taylor Tatum, Ross Sterling Middle School Coach/Adaptive Behavior Teacher Rodney Gray, and Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo.

Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:

Taylor Tatum, Foster Elementary 3rd Grade Teacher

Those who nominated her said, "Taylor is a role model for showing positivity and optimism. She has taken on the role of our Kind Minds bucket challenge coordinator and does a remarkable job of keeping the teachers as well as the students motivated to “fill each other’s buckets” with positive and encouraging complements. Taylor consistently goes above and beyond for her students and shows a genuine interest in their lives. Her students love and respect her. We are so thankful to have Taylor at Foster Elementary."

Rodney Gray, — Ross Sterling Middle School Coach/Adaptive Behavior Teacher

Those who nominated her said, "Coach Gray is so much more than a coach, teacher, and colleague. He is a big brother and father. He takes time to counsel students individually. Even when he is reprimanding, he leaves them with a calm assurance of "You can do it, man." Along with helping students, he helps any teacher who is having a challenging day"

Matt Smith — ISC Coordinator of Affective Education

Those who nominated her said, "Matt never says "No" or "I don't have time". He makes you feel like what you have to say is important and always knows how to calm the bulldog. His "Can Do" attitude brings out the best in you. Matt is always implementing positive activities to include everyone in and he is always pleasant and goes the extra mile for our students and employees at Humble ISD."

Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a $200 gift card to Pappas Restaurants thanks to an award sponsor. The sponsor for the Super Staffer Awards this month is Community Resource Credit Union.
