Humble ISD Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk Teams Receive Awards
The top achieving Humble ISD 2015 Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk Teams were recognized at the regularly scheduled school board meeting Dec. 8. Elementary School Division: Top Participating School –– Deerwood Elementary Top Fundraising School –– Whispering Pines Elementary
Middle School Division: Top Participating School –– Timberwood Middle School Top Fundraising Schools –– Kingwood Middle School and Creekwood Middle School. KMS received the award for donations collected by the day of the event. CMS brought in $682 more after donations were fully collected and accounted.
High School Division: Top Participating School –– Quest Early College High School Top Fundraising School –– Atascocita High school
Top Specialty Campus –– James D. Eggers Instructional Support Center
Every donation and every walker made a difference. Humble ISD was named the Top School District Heart Walk Team in Texas for the third year running, raising $52,000 for the American Heart Association.
