Teachers surprised by the Humble ISD Education Foundation Prize Posse thanks to H-E-B award

The $100,000 prize money awarded to Humble ISD through the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards was distributed on Nov. 13 by H-E-B Houston Division President Scott McClelland, the Humble ISD Education Foundation, and Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo. Innovative projects involving students at 32 schools were chosen to receive funding through a competitive application process. The Humble ISD Education Foundation received $100,000 to distribute as grants as a result of the district being named the 2015 Best Large District in Texas.
