Cyberbullying Awareness Events

Suddenlink is hosting two events to raise awareness about cyberbullying and positive uses of technology  in our local and surrounding communities. Event 1: Suddenlink Against Cyberbullying MP3 Experiment and Event 2: Scholarship Banquet that evening where we will announce our winners and listen to nationally recognized speaker, Trisha Prabhu who created the anti-cyberbullying app “ReThink”. For your reference, below are the official event details.

CYBERBULLYING AWARENESS EVENTS:

EVENT 1

Join us as we partner with IMPROV EVERYWHERE to bring you SUDDENLINK'S COMMUNITY-WIDE MP3 EXPERIMENT.
We’re inviting EVERYONE from the Kingwood community and surrounding areas to witness HISTORY as we unite a community causing the BIGGEST SCENE IN KINGWOOD TO PREVENT CYBERBULLYING!

1.) Download the MP3 file to your phone or ipod between OCTOBER 10th and 24th  by going to: improveverywhere.com/kingwood

2.) Bring a pair of earbuds/headphones, a plastic grocery bag, and wear a red, blue, green or yellow shirt.

3.) Meet us at KINGS HARBOR (1660 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood, TX 77345) at 10:15am. Park in the parking garage (or along the street) and a team member will direct you to the starting point. We will begin promptly at 11am.

4.) Pick up a balloon upon your arrival from a Suddenlink staff member

5.) MOST IMPORTANTLY: DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MP3 PRIOR TO THE EVENT (We’d hate for you to ruin the experience)

6.) Prepare to make a difference and be a part of KINGWOOD HISTORY!
