Education Foundation Sponsored Super Staffers of the Month

Humble ISD’s Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on June 9. Thanks to the Humble ISD Education Foundation for sponsoring this month's Super Staffers! Pictured above are Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo, Humble High School Secretary Dana Jackson, Ridge Creek Elementary Head Custodian April Jones, Human Resources Guest Teacher Coordinator Diane Henley, and Board President Robert Sitton. Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:
April Jones - Ridge Creek Elementary Head Custodian
Those who nominated her said, "She is such a hard worker. April is always willing to help. April goes the extra mile to make sure our school looks beautiful."

Dana Jackson - Humble High School English Secretary
Those who nominated her said, “I would like to recognize the hard work and labor that Mrs. Dana Jackson produces daily. She has single handedly, with minimal support, collected textbooks for our entire campus.

Diane Henley - Human Resources Guest Teacher Coordinator
Those who nominated her said, “Diane goes above and beyond to help close the gap toward excellence for our students. She arrives to work early and leaves late to get guest teachers hired, trained, placed in the sub system, and ready for the classroom. There have been several times that Diane has been valuable in assisting a Principal find just the right guest teacher to fill a need. Thanks to the long hours, hard work, and dedication by Diane in processing as many guest teachers as she does to quickly have them ready on standby to teach in the absence of the teacher for our students.”

Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a $200 gift card to Pappas Restaurants thanks to an award sponsor. The sponsor for the Super Staffer Awards this month is The Humble ISD Education Foundation
