Kingwood Orthodontics Sponsored Super Staffers of the Month

Humble ISD’s Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on May 12. Thanks to Kingwood Orthodontics for sponsoring this month's Super Staffers! Pictured above are Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo, Cambridge School Paraprofessional Anthony Thibedeaux, North Belt Elementary Interventionist Cara Munn, Maintenance Department HVAC Mechanic Raymond Elasko, and Board President Robert Scarfo. Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:
 
Cara Munn - North Belt Elementary Interventionist
Those who nominated her said, "As a K-2 interventionist and dyslexia specialist, Ms. Munn teaches students reading fundamentals essential to their success. She works diligently as North Belt’s Parent Involvement Liaison to fortify relationships between our school and families. As a mentor to beginning teachers, Ms. Munn helps direct and guide teachers to implement research-based strategies into their to teaching to ensure student success. Ms. Munn can be found helping throughout the school as she shares her talents, time, and resources."

Anthony Thibedeaux - Cambridge School Paraprofessional
Those who nominated him said, "Anthony goes above and beyond everyday to make sure our students are successful. He responds with a smile to any request that he is asked and is a true asset to this campus.
"

Raymond Elasko - Maintenance Department HVAC Mechanic
Those who nominated him said, “Raymond is a dedicated employee who is very knowledgeable in the area of A/C and Heating. He helps out where ever he is needed. Raymond is closing the gap towards excellence by filling in and doing the job of a HVAC Technician and HVAC Mechanic for most of this school year. He is a true example of "Supporting Learning Through Service.”


Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a $200 gift card to Pappas Restaurants thanks to an award sponsor. The sponsor for the Super Staffer Awards this month is Kingwood Orthodontics.
