Elementary students participate in district Science and Engineering Fair

Local elementary students recently enjoyed exploring their interests in science by participating in the Humble Independent School District-Wide Elementary Science and Engineering Fair. Students in the public, private and home schooling programs were eligible to compete in the community event.

Science fair projects offer students an opportunity to use the scientific method to answer questions that interest them. Thanks to the principle sponsor, Intercontinental Rotary Club of Humble students received medals, Best of Show awards and a class field trip for a participant selected at random. This years field trip winner is Woodland Hills Elementary student Alani Martinez.

Those interested in participating next year can visit www.humbleisd.net/sciencefair to get information and to submit a registration form. If you are interested in judging the next district-wide science fair you can email Dr. Aaron Clevenson at aaron@clevenson.org.
