Night Light Pediatrics Sponsored Super Staffers of the Month

Humble ISD’s Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on March 17. Thanks to Night Light Pediatrics for sponsoring this month's Super Staffers. Pictured above are Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo, Hidden Hollow 4th Grade Teacher Christiana Chavez, Quest Early College High School Paraprofessional Donna Carter, Child Nutrition Department Technology Coordinator Pat Ferguson, Night Light Pediatrics Representative Amanda Guera, and Board President Robert Scarfo. Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:
 
Christiana Chavez — Hidden Hollow Elementary 4th Grade Teacher

Those who nominated her said, "Christiana is working so hard not just to teach, but also be a support to her students. She is working to build relationships with her kids. Christiana gets to know each student as an individual and builds on each student's individual abilities. She really cares about her kids." 

Donna Carter — Quest Early College High School Paraprofessional

Those who nominated her said, “ Donna works tirelessly on behalf of QECHS students.She manages supervision of our students on the LSC-K campus and helps to coordinate and run our service learning program. Donna is a true asset and always has a happy and positive outlook.She is a rock star!

Pat Ferguson — Child Nutrition Department Technology Coordinator

Those who nominated her said, “ Pat single handedly supports all 41 school kitchens and the Child Nutrition Center with technology installation and trouble shooting. Her skills are outstanding and just as importantly, she cares about all of our "customers" at each kitchen. Pat fosters a family atmosphere in the Child Nutrition Department and we are lucky to have her! 

Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a $200 gift card to Pappas Restaurants thanks to an award sponsor. The sponsor for the Super Staffer Awards this month is Night Light Pediatrics.
