Humble ISD Council of PTAs announces PTA Reflections Contest winners

Reflections Theme
Each year PTAs nationwide hold a Reflections Contest. The Reflections Contest is held at the local level by the Humble ISD Council of PTAs for all students Pre-K-12th grade.

The program was started in 1969 by the Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson. Since then the program has continued to encourage students to express themselves in an artistic and unique way. Students can submit works of art in six different categories: dance choreography, photography, film production, literature, musical composition, and visual arts.

The Reflections program recognizes students at the Local, Council/Region, State and National PTA levels. At each level, all entries are judged on interpretation of the theme, creativity and artistic merit.  The theme for this year is “The World Would Be A Better Place If..."

There are 16 students who advanced to the Texas PTA State level. Those students are listed below along with their category of artwork.
