A new look for district and campus websites

District and campus websites will have a new look beginning next week. Photos and articles will scroll at the top of the page, allowing a number of items to be prominently featured in a more modern, less cluttered design with user-friendly navigation. Another improvement is that the new websites have been crafted so that they are easier to view across a range of devices, including smart phones, tablets, and desktop computers. The original design was installed in 2010. Redesigns are needed every 3 to 5 years to keep up with current technology.

The transformation will occur in stages because each site must be published to the web individually. The updated district website is scheduled to be viewable Monday. Elementary campus webmasters will be meeting Monday to transform their schools’ sites. Secondary campus webmasters will be meeting Tuesday to transform their schools’ sites.
The website address remains unchanged at There is no down time during the transformation because content remains viewable to the public throughout the process. Teachers and departments do not have to change their content. The template will be updated automatically.
