KPHS Panthers Pink Out Football Games Raised $13,000
The KPHS football program, the volleyball program and the National Honor Society
together raised over $13,000 for pediatric brain tumor research for MD
Anderson at the Pink Out Game on October 25.
The volleyball program had a pink out
game and sold pink rally towels. The NHS sold pink out t-shirts. The football
game sold sponsorships for pink and black KPark jerseys. Sponsors could have
the name of a loved one who either beat cancer or lost a battle to cancer placed
on the back of the jersey. After the game, football players presented the
jerseys to the sponsors.
