Humble ISDs Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on October 14.  Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:

Tanya Pounds – Timbers Elementary Principal’s Secretary/Bookeeper

Those who nominated her said, "Her title is Principal Secretary/Bookkeeper but she is so much more than that. She is our go-to person for supplies, help with purchases, bats, snakes, toilets, electricity, and more. She does it ALL! Tanya works each and every day providing everyone the things they need to do their jobs, with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. We could not accomplish what we do each day without her."

Karen Allison—Humble Middle Assistant Principal’s Secretary

Those who nominated her said, “Mrs. Allison is closing the gap towards excellence by going above and beyond to provide assistance to our parents and staff when locating drop outs, registering students, and the day-to-day activities on our campus.  She is always willing to lend an extra hand to make sure that we are providing the best service possible to our parents and students.

Kim Clark—Child Nutrition Supervisor

Those who nominated her said, “Kim goes the extra mile in managing food safety and sanitation practices for the Child Nutrition Department.  She maintains close contact with area Health Department administrators and makes sure Humble ISD is following the most recent guidelines at all times.”

Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a $200 gift card to Pappas Restaurants thanks to an award sponsor. The sponsor for the Super Staffer Awards this month is Waste Management. Lisa Doughty of Waste Management presented the awards.
