Catch a livestreaming of the next Board Meeting on Oct. 14
TexanLive.com is now providing live streaming and on-demand viewing of monthly Humble ISD School Board meetings. To view the meetings, scheduled for 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, click on the TexanLive.com link from the Humble ISD homepage at www.humbleisd.net.
TexanLive.com is an Humble-based company that provides video coverage of Humble ISD high school sports games and community youth league games as well as articles and photos. The company also has donated live streaming of Humble ISD graduation ceremonies so that out-of-town friends and relatives could watch their loved ones walk across the stage. Additionally, they host an Aaron Glenn Summer Football Camp in June at Turner Stadium that is free for students age 9 to 14.
“Texan.Live.com uses video technology to bring the community together for the benefit of youth and families,” said Bert Brocker, owner and founder of TexanLive.com. “We are pleased to be able to find another use for this technology by video recording school board meetings.”
The service will be offered April through September while the district and trustees evaluate the demand for video coverage of school board meetings. Monthly school board meetings are scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12 and September 9.
“Bert Brocker and TexanLive.com already do so much for our students by supporting athletics, the Humble ISD Education Foundation and graduation ceremonies,” Humble ISD School Board President Brent M. Engelage said. “TexanLive.com embodies what it means to be a community-oriented company and the School Board is very grateful for this service.”
