"Humble ISD has a strong history of excellence in the classroom. That excellence comes from the relentless focus on every child succeeding. Success starts with having the tools and resources available for all children to learn in a nurturing environment. As a non-profit organization, Memorial Hermann understands the needs of many in our community and is committed to helping meet those needs," said Heath Rushing, Memorial Hermann Vice President and CEO.

"That’s why we are committed to participating in the back-to-school drive each year. From a school board member perspective, I am proud to serve in a community that is so gracious with its resources. Every year organizations in our community step up to help make sure our students are ready to succeed. That’s why people continue to seek out Humble ISD as a destination district for their children," said Rushing. Heath Rushing also volunteers as an Humble ISD Trustee.
Humble ISD Deputy Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Thomas Price, was among the school district administrators who accepted the school supplies on behalf of children in need. "It is always exciting to work with Memorial Hermann," said Dr.  Price. "I want to thank their staff for the overwhelming amount on school supplies they donated for our students. The first day is always an exciting day for us, but each year we have students and families that need help.  The generosity shown by the Memorial Hermann staff will assure that many of our students will receive the school supplies they need to have a super start to the new school year."

In addition, the Memorial Hermann PIC Team sponsors a Summer Food Drive, Fall Food Drive and Holiday Toy Drive for Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM).
