On Tuesday, August 16th North Belt Elementary teachers and staff will board school buses to visit students in their neighborhoods and homes. The North Belt staff will give out school supplies, school magnets with contact information, and popsicles to beat the heat. The neighborhood home visits will be from noon-4 p.m. with the last stop at the North Belt Elementary playground.

Macaire McDonough-Davies, North Belt’s principal said, “We are excited to visit the homes of our students to personally welcome them back to school. This warm welcome helps to strengthen our school and home partnership and provide our staff with a deeper understanding of the life experiences our students bring to the classroom. We are grateful to the Humble ISD Education Foundation for funding the grant that makes this important day possible.”

The school sent post cards to students so that parents are aware of the bus schedule.
