Saturday, October 22, Humble ISD dedicated the Field House at George Turner Stadium to Wayne C. Robbins during the Humble High vs. Porter High School football game. The field house was named after Wayne Robbins to honor his memory. Mr. Robbins was a proud product of Humble schools and a 1946 graduate of Charles Bender High School. Mr. Robbins has helped many organizations and individuals throughout the years and was one of Humble ISD's biggest supporters. Turner Stadium was Mr. Robbins favorite spot and now his Wildcat pride will forever be a part of Humble ISD. The Robbins family accepted the dedication in honor of Mr. Robbins.  Mayor Pro-Tem Norman Funderburk was unable to attend the dedication but sent a special message to the Robbins family.
