Super Staffers sponsored by Humble ISD Education Foundation

Humble ISD’s Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on June 13. Thanks to Humble ISD Education Foundation for sponsoring this month's Super Staffers! Pictured from left are School Board President Angela Conrad, Humble ISD Education Foundation Board Chairwoman Jen Sitton, Transportation Field Trip Coordinator Tiffany Acton, Atascocita High School Librarian Debra Sewell, Humble Elementary Interventionist Jessica Davilla and Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Fagen.

Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:

Jessica Davila Humble Elementary, Interventionist

Those who nominated her said, "Jessica promotes positive behaviors and develops solid relationships with the students. She is excited to make a difference in students’ lives. She exhibits flexibility and has a positive attitude on a daily basis. She adds value to our campus by working not only with students, but with parents and staff as well. Jessica is a dedicated member of Humble Elementary and is appreciated for all that she does."

Debra Sewell — Atascocita High School, Librarian

Those who nominated her said, "Ms. Sewell always takes care of everyone on the campus...students and staff. She makes sure that everyone has what they need, when they need it, even when it is a last-minute request. And, best of all, she does it with a smile."

Tiffany Acton — Transportation, Field Trip Coordinator

Those who nominated her said, "Tiffany has been an employee of transportation since August 2001. She always has a great attendance and has always been helpful when asked. In the past year she has went from a driver to the field trip coordinator and has been very fast in doing all the job duties and has managed the trips very well. I think she is doing a great job when it comes to the field trips and she is a very valuable employee in that position."

Each month, campuses and departments select an individual to be honored as a Super Staffer for their outstanding work in advancing student achievement. A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a $200 gift card to Pappas Restaurants thanks to an award sponsor. The sponsor for the Super Staffer Awards this month is Humble ISD Education Foundation.
