Luncheon to honor Humble ISD’s 2016-2017 Teachers of the Year

 

Humble ISD's 2016-2017 Teachers of the Year were honored at a luncheon held at Raffa’s Waterfront Grill on May 18, 2017. They were treated to performances by members of The Atascocita High School Strolling Strings, singers from Kingwood High School, and touching speeches from students at Humble, Kingwood Park and Quest Early College High Schools, that reflected upon what impact teachers have on students' lives. 

 

Special thanks to AHS Orchestra Director Colin Catoe, Assistant Director Andrew McCallum and the following members of the AHS Strolling Strings: Antonio Abarquez, Robert Brown, Matthew Buniva, Emil De Veyra, Janae Deleon, Matthew Deshayes, Aulio Franco, Reynaldo Garcia, Alex Gallegos, Christian Harvey, Ethan Herold, Laurel Jackson, Natalie Jackson, Melody Lihou, Tysen Mendel, Jared Paguio, Lauren Palomo and Rachel Vickery.

 

Student singers from Kingwood High School were seniors Abbey Harris and Catherine Monteleone. Speeches were given by HHS senior Brandon Casper, KPHS senior Amelie Hebert, and QECHS senior Arlette Chavez.
