ESE student wins art contest and $2,000 for the school

Eagle Springs Elementary fourth grader Caleb DiVall, won $2,000 worth of art supplies for his school. After winning Best of Show in the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Art Contest in March, DiVall’s artwork “The Sunset Cow” was chosen to participate in the 2017 Reliant Power of Art “People’s Choice” Contest. After a month of online voting his art was one of three students in the greater Houston area with the most votes. In addition to the $2,000 for the campus, the 2017 Reliant Power of Art award recipients received a winner’s plaque, a rodeo gift pack, and a $100 gift card. Briggs Webster of NRG and Clint Cannon a professional rodeo cowboy and past Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Bareback Champion presented DiVall with the check on April 17.
