SCHS Choir and Band Students Compete in Area Auditions

Summer Creek High School students compete at Area auditions for the Texas All-State Choir

On Saturday, January 12, Eric Bugtong (10), Gavin Haines (12), November Lee (12) and Chloe Lewis (12) will compete at the Area Round of the TMEA Texas All-State Choir Auditions at The Woodlands High School.  This is the fourth and final round of a very competitive process that began in September with over 1,000 students in our region alone.  Only the top 5 in each voice section were selected to represent TMEA Region 33 to compete against 3 other regions for the coveted All-State Choir spots.  The Summer Creek High School Choir has had an All-State Choir student every year for the last 6 years. We know these students will keep the tradition going!
