Thank You Watch D.O.G.S Dads Program

We have had a very successful WatchD.O.G.S. (Dads of great students)  Volunteer program this past fall.  If you have not heard of WatchD.O.G.S.,  it is an innovative father involvement program to provide positive male role models and also an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying. This is a chance for Dads and Grandfathers to spend some time at ASE volunteering time by coming up to school to help out with lunch duty, assist at recess, read with your child’s class, monitor hallways and safety of our building. It is time to begin signing up for 2nd semester dates.    Please email Lisa Naylor at to sign up for dates to come up and help.  If you have not volunteered yet, you will need to have a quick training to learn the rules and expectations. The students really loved being able to connect with so many Dads, Grandpa’s, etc.. You will be required to bring a photo ID and wear a WatchD.O.G.S. T-shirt for the day of volunteering. You can order a shirt for yourself at or you may borrow one of ours to wear for the day.

We can begin scheduling for January and February now---

January 9-31st.  We can schedule Watch Dog Dads on January on any of the weekdays EXCEPT January 16, 20, and 27th.

February 1-28th.  We can schedule WatchD.O.G.S. Dads in February on any of the weekdays EXCEPT February 1, 14, 20-24th

Looking forward to seeing lots of Dad Volunteers!
