Cyberbullying
What is cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is bullying that uses some form of electronic technology, including cell phones, text messages, chat, social media, websites, etc. While bullying has always been around, the use of technology takes it to another level because cyberbullying isn't just in the hallways or on the school bus--it can happen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can reach a much wider audience. Examples of cyberbullying include: mean text messages or emails; rumors sent by text, by email or posted to social networking sites; embarrassing pictures, videos, and/or websites; fake profiles; etc.
