I am very excited to be working with our seventh grade class of 2028 and to be part of all the great things our KMS Cougars are doing!

 

I am joining KMS from the Teaching and Learning team, where I have served as Secondary ELA curriculum specialist since 2016. This is my tenth year in Humble ISD and my fifteenth year in education, having started my career as an English teacher in Aldine ISD before coming to Humble in 2012. I earned my bachelor's degree from University of Houston Downtown and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

 

 

In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family. We love traveling, especially to the mountains and to Disney. I also love going to concerts and the theatre and watching the Astros play ball. My husband, Geoff, is also a teacher at Woodcreek Middle School. We have two children, one of whom currently attends Humble ISD.
