SPRING 2023 RETIREMENTS
- TANJALA BURL
  Tanjala has been a 5th grade teacher at Autumn Creek Elementary School this year. Tanjala previously taught for 18 years in Garland ISD and 2 years in New Orleans Public Schools. She has served in education for 20 years.
- COY CAMPBELL
  Coy has been a Social Studies Instructional Coach and Teacher at Atascocita High School for 18 years. He previously taught for 14 years at Spring ISD and 6 years at Spring Branch ISD. Coy has served in education for 37 years.
- DEEMONNIA CANADY
  Deemonnia has been a Paraproffessional/Receptionist at Hidden Hollow Elementary School for 13 years. Deemonnia previously served for 5 years at Round Rock ISD and 3 years at Rochester ISD in Minnesota. She has served in education for 21 years.
- CHARLOTTE COOK, RN
  Charlotte has been the school nurse at Woodland Hills Elementary for 19 years. Charlotte previously served at Kingwood Middle for 2 years and 2 years in Spring ISD. She has served in education for 23 years.
- KAREN CULLUM
  Karen has been the Office Manager at CLC/PACE for the past 16 years. Karen previously held the position as Registrar at Kingwood High School and Registrar and Office Manager at Humble High School. She has served in education for 39 years in Humble ISD.
- HOLLIE ERICKSON
  Hollie has served as a 504 Specialist in Educational Support Services for 4 years. Hollie taught for 16 years at Bear Branch, Foster and Oak Forest Elementary Schools and at Ross Sterling Middle School. She previously taught for 10 years in Smithville ISD and 1 year at Beaumont Christian School. Hollie has served in education for 31 years.
- STEVA FLOWERS
  Steva has taught at Fall Creek Elementary for 7 years. Steva previously taught at Midland ISD for 4 years, 3 years at Eagle Mt.-Saginaw ISD, 16 years in Spring ISD and 10 years at a Private Christian School. She has served in Education for 40 years.
- SHERRIE FRANCIS
  Sherrie has been the Campus Secretary for Humble High School for 17 years. Sherrie previously held positions in the Special Education Department at Timberwood Middle School for 2 years. Sherrie has served in education at Humble ISD for 19 years.
- LISA KRUEGER
  Lisa has been an ELA Teacher at River Pines Elementary for 1 year. Lisa previously held positions at Huffman ISD for 30 years, and Riverside Academy for 3 years. Lisa has served in education for 34 years.
- ROBERT MCANDREWS
  Robert has taught CTE at CLC/PACE for the past 11 years. Robert previously taught Marketing Education at HHS for 15 years. He also taught Computer Information Systems at the Career & Technology Education Center, HHS, KHS and AHS for 11 years, and as a Substitute for 4 years. He has served as an educator with Humble ISD for 41 years.
- FRANCES MATTEI-GORENA
  Frances has been the Language Acquisition Coordinator for 4 years at ISC. Frances previously served as a Principal and Multilingual Coordinator at Irving ISD for 4 years, Principal and Multilingual Coordinator at Weatherford ISD for 7 years, Teacher and Literacy Coach at Tyler ISD for 10 years and a Teacher for 3 years in California. She has served in Education for 28 years.
- LORRIE OGLETREE
  Lorrie has been a Counselor at Maplebrook Elementary for 8 years. Lorrie previously was in IT at North Belt Elementary for 5 years, taught 3rd-5th grade at Woodland Hills Elementary for 5 years, Student Support/Parent Liaison at Lakeland Elementary for 5 years, and 6 years at Spring Branch ISD. She has served in education for 29 years.
- LORI ROBINSON
  Lori has been a Counselor at Riverwood Middle School for 6 years. Lori previously was a Counselor at Kingwood High for 16 years and taught at Kingwood High for 2 years, as well as a District 504 Coordinator for 2 years. She has served as an educator for 27 years.
- TAMMYE VAUGHN
  Tammye has been a Benefit Analyst in Payroll with Humble ISD for the past 12 years. Tammye has served in education for 12 years.

- NANCY DREXLER
  Nancy has been a Counselor at Kingwood High School for the past 8 years. She has served at Humble ISD at Timberwood Middle School for 16 years. Prior to Humble ISD, she served for 6 years at Gladewater ISD, 2 years at Lamesa ISD, 3 years at Burnet CISD and 2 years at Cotton Center ISD. Nancy has served in education for 37 years.
- ROBERT FOUST
  Robert has been a Special Education teacher at Humble High School for the past 17 years. Prior to Humble ISD, he served for 1 year at Klein ISD and 6 years in Memphis, TN. Robert has served in education for 24 years.
- VANITA LACOUR
  Vanita has been a Special Education teacher at Atascoita High School for the past 14 years. She also served at Timberwood Middle School for 7 years and West Lake Middle School for 3 years. Prior to Humble ISD, she served 4 years at Liberty ISD. Vanita has served in education for 29 years.
- CYNTHIA LINDSAY
  Cynthia has been an Educational Diagnostician at Kingwood High School for the past 20 years. Prior to Humble ISD, she served for 17 years at La Porte ISD. Cynthia has served in education for 37 years.
- MELISSA SNOWDEN SMITH
  Melissa has been a Speech-Language Pathologist at Humble ISD for the past 12 years. She has served at Humble ISD at Whispering Pines for eight years, six years at Humble Middle, one year at River Pines, and as Internant for the past four years. Prior to Humble ISD, she served for 16 years at Austin ISD. Melissa has served in education for 28 years.

- DEBBIE AUGUSTINE
  Debbie has been a teacher at Oak Forest Elementary for the past 9 years. She began teaching at Humble ISD at Lakeland Elementary, where she taught for 11 years. Prior to Humble ISD, she taught for 4 years at St. Margaret Catholic School in Lake Charles, LA and 16 years in DeRidder, Louisiana. Debbie has served in education for 40 years.
- CAREN BARNES
  Caren has been a Counselor at Kingwood Park High School for the past 16 years. She began teaching at Humble ISD at Kingwood Park, where she taught World Geography for 4 years, and at Humble High School, where she was a Special Education Teacher. Caren has served as an educator in Humble for a total of 26 years.
- KATHY BECK
  Kathy has been a 2nd grade teacher at Lakeland Elementary for 16 years. She previously served in Humble ISD in the Payroll Department for 13 years. Kathy has served Humble ISD for 29 years.
- MONICA BROWN
  Monica has served at Maplebrook Elementary since she helped them open their doors in 2001. She has previously served in Humble ISD at Woodland Hills, Hidden Hollow, and Jack Fields Elementary Schools. Monica has served Humble ISD for 36 years.
- BONNIE FOSTER
  Bonnie has been a Special Education Teacher at Humble Middle School for the past 6 years. Before coming to HMS, she also served as a Paraeducator at Pine Forest, Deerwood, Willow Creek, Lakeland, Maplebrook, and Timbers Elementary Schools, as well as, Timberwood Middle School, Summer Creek High School, and Cambridge. Prior to Humble ISD, she served for 3 years in New Caney ISD. Bonnie has served as an educator for a total of 23 years.
- PAT HAUGHTON
  Pat has been a Bus Driver in Transportation for the last 10 years. Pat has served Humble for 10 years.
- CELIA HERBST
  Celia has been the Counseling Office Manager at Kingwood Park High School for 16 years. Before coming to KPHS, she was a Paraeducator for 7 years at Kingwood High School. Celia has served Humble ISD in education for 23 years.
- CAROL HUNT
  Carol has been the Principal’s Secretary & Bookkeeper at Hidden Hollow Elementary for the past 25 years, and previously a paraprofessional for 3 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Carol taught for 3 years in Seminole County, Florida Public Schools. Carol has served as an educator for a total of 31 years.
- CYNTHIA HUNTER
  Cynthia has been a 4th Grade Math/Science Teacher at Woodland Hills Elementary for the past 10 years. Before coming to WHE, she was a teacher at Oak Forest Elementary, where she taught for 15 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Cynthia taught for 4 years at Splendora ISD and 5 years at Cherryvale, Kansas USD 446. Cynthia has served as an educator for a total of 34 years.
- TAMMY JAMES
  Tammy has served at Maplebrook Elementary for 14 years and previously at Ross Sterling Middle School for 3 years. Tammy has served Humble ISD for 17 years.
- CHRISTIE SYDOW JORDAN
  Christie has been a Data Assessment Facilitator and Social Studies Instructional Coach at Riverwood Middle School for 11 years. She taught for 20 years at Riverwood Middle School and 8 years at Creekwood Middle School. Christie has served Humble ISD in education for 39 years. A retirement reception will be held May 26, 2022, in the RMS library at 2:30.
- BRENDA LUTTRELL
  Brenda has been a paraprofessional at Hidden Hollow Elementary for the past 8 years. She started her service at Hidden Hollow Elementary in Pre-K and Inclusion . Brenda has served Humble in education for 12 years.
- LOUIS MASCOLO
  Louis has been the Aeroscience Teacher at Kingwood High School for the past 13 years. Before KHS, he taught at Humble High School for 20 years. He has served as an Humble ISD educator for 33 years.
- DARYL MAUNE
  Daryl has been the Agriculture Science Instructor at Atascocita High School for the past 8 years. Before he came to Humble ISD, he taught for 5 years in Oklahoma. Daryl began his career at the Department of Justice, where he worked for 26 years. Daryl has served as an educator for 13 years.
- MELODY MCDANIEL
  Melody has been a teacher at Hidden Hollow for 17 years. She has taught Fifth Grade for 7 years, Kindergarten for 6 years, and First Grade for 4 years. Before coming to Humble ISD she taught for 5 years in Lubbock, Terrell and Irving ISD. Melody has served in education for 22 years.
- JOAN MINER
  Joan has been a Paraprofessional at Groves Elementary in the Interventionist Department for the past 5 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, she worked at Bear Creek United Methodist Church for 14 years and 7 years at CyFair ISD. Joan has served as an educator for 26 years.
- KELLY MYERS
  Kelly has been the Assistant Principal at Jack Fields elementary for 5 years. She has taught at Jack Fields as a 5th grade teacher for 5 years, a Science Instruction Coach for 3 years and a Math and Science Instruction Coach for 1 year. Before coming to Humble ISD, she taught for 5 years at Huffman ISD and 12 years as a 5th grade teacher in Sunset, Utah. Kelly has served in education for 31 years.

  Jean has been at Maplebrook Elementary, since she helped them open their doors in 2001. She previously served at Jack Fields Elementary. Jean has served Humble ISD for 27 years.
- LISA RADER
  Lisa has taught as a Special Education Interventionist at Bear Branch Elementary for 12 years. She has also taught first grade and was a Dyslexia Interventionist at Bear Branch Elementary. Before coming to Humble ISD, she taught for 17 years at Aldine ISD, and 1 year in Geary County, Kansas. A retirement reception was held in her honor on May 23, 2022. Lisa has served in education for 30 years.
- ROSA SALAZAR
  Rosa has served in Child Nutrition for 20 years and 9 months. Rosa has served Humble for 20 years and 9 months.
- KATHLEEN SCOTT
  Kathleen has been the Administrative Assistant in State & Federal Programs for the past 11 years. She came to Humble ISD in 2001 at Shadow Forest Elementary, where she served for 3 years. She moved to Accounts Payable, where she served for 3 years, and 2 years in the Finance Department. Kathleen has served in Humble for 21 years.
- CHERI SHUMATE
  Cheri has been an Educational Diagnostician at Atascocita High School for 8 years. She began teaching in Humble ISD at Deerwood Elementary, where she was a Life Skills and Pre-K teacher for 4 years. She taught as an ARD specialist at Oak Forest for 5 years, AMS for 2 years, and Humble High School for 3 years. She taught as a Diagnostician for 3 years at Humble High and 4 years at Atascocita High. Before coming to Humble ISD, she taught for 5 years in Dayton ISD and 1 year at Klein ISD. Cheri has served in education for 27 years.
- DALE SMITH
  Dale has been a First Grade Teacher at Hidden Hollow Elementary for the past 14 years. He began teaching in Humble ISD at Lakeland Elementary, where he taught for 9 years. Before he came to Humble ISD, he taught for 8 years at Galena Park ISD, 5 years at Houston ISD and 1 year at Fort Bend ISD & Stafford Municipal. Dale has served in education for 37 years.
FALL 2021 RETIREMENTS
- MITCHELL BRIANT
  Mitchell has been the JROTC Instructor at Humble High School for the past 4 1/2 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Mitchell taught JROTC at Eisenhower High School/9th Grade Campuses for 13 years. Including 6 years of military time, he has served as an educator for 25 years.
- TRACEY FRUGE
  Tracey has been a 3rd Grade Math/Science Teacher at Eagle Springs Elementary for the past 6 years. Before coming to ESE, she taught 4th grade at Timbers Elementary for 2 years, 4th and 5th grade RELA ALT at Maplebrook Elementary for 14 years, and 3rd grade at ESE for 6 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Tracey was a Speech Therapist for 1 year at St. Landry Parrish in Louisiana. She has served as an educator for a total of 23 years.
- HENRY SARCHET
  Henry is currently the Warehouse Supervisor in Operational Support Services. He began working in Humble ISD as a Warehouse Man and worked his way through several positions completing his career as Supervisor. Henry has served in Humble ISD for 35 years. There will be a reception in his honor on December 16, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Warehouse at 1703 Wilson Road, Building A.
SPRING 2021 RETIREMENTS:
- DANNA ADKINS
  Danna has taught English IV at Humble High School for the past 2 years. Danna came to Humble ISD in 1994 at Atascotia Middle School under the leadership of Ron Westerfield. In 2006, she moved to Atascocita High School. After a short venture off to another district, Danna returned to the district at Humble High School. Before coming to Humble ISD she taught at Warrington Middle School in Pensacola, Florida, Lamar High School in Meridian, Mississippi, at Crosby High School in Crosby ISD and at Westfield High School in Spring ISD. Danna has served as an educator for a total of 27 years.
- ROBERT BELL
  Robert has been an Assistant Principal at Kingwood High School for the past 7 years. Before becoming an AP, He served as a Video Technology Teacher at KHS for 8 years. Before coming to KHS, he taught Video Technology for 1 year, and was an Assistant Principal for 7 years at Atascocita High School. Before coming to Humble ISD Robert was in Public Information at SFASU. He served as an educator for a total of 25 years.
- ANNE BLAKE
  Anne has been an Academic Lead Teacher at Timberwood Middle School for the past 10 years. Before coming to TMS, she taught 6th grade for 1.5 years at Woodcreek Middle School, was a 4th Grade Teacher at Maplebrook Elementary for 9 years, and was a 4th Grade Teacher at Jack Fields Elementary for 3 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Anne taught 5th grade for 4 years in Aldine ISD. Ann has been an educator for a total of 27 years.
- CASZANDRA BOLEN
  Caszandra has been a Special Education Paraprofessional. She served at Maplebrook Elementary for 15 years and at Oaks Elementary for 5 years. Before coming to Humble ISD she served in Aldine ISD for 5 years. Caszandra has served in education for a total of 25 years.
- SARA BRENT
  Sara has been a 4th grade teacher at Foster Elementary School for the past 20 years. She has served as an educator for a total of 20 years.
- ELIZABETH BROD
  Elizabeth has been an Assistant Principal at Riverwood Middle School for the past 8 years. Before becoming an AP, Elizabeth was an Instructional Coach (ALT), a Technology Specialist and a Teacher of RELA, Science, Social Studies, and Math. She served a total of 21 years at Riverwood Middle School. Before coming to RMS, she served for 6 years at Deerwood Elementary and 4 years at Woodland Hills Elementary. Before coming to Humble ISD, she taught at Galena Park ISD for 1 year. Elizabeth has served as an educator for a total of 32 years.
- LIZA BURCH
  Liza has been an AP Specialist at the BBTC for the past 3 years. She came to Humble ISD in 1997, and has worked in Academics, Quest Early College High School, and Accounts Payable. Before coming to Humble ISD, She began with San Diego Unified as an Information Systems Technician before moving to Texas to begin working at Region IV for two years as a Data Processing Specialist. She then spent three years with Houston ISD as a Software Specialist before moving to Ft Bend ISD to work with Child Nutrition as their Unix Systems Analyst. Liza has served in Education for more than 32 years.
- TANYA CLOSE
  Tanya has been an Assistant Principal at West Lake Middle School for the past 3 years. Before coming to WLMS, she was an Assistant Principal at Woodcreek Middle School for 8 years, a Testing Coordinator at Atascocita Middle School for 2 years, a Science Teacher at AMS for 10 years, and a Teacher at Pine Forest Elementary for 9 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Tanya taught at Prince William County, Virginia, for 1 year, and in Germany with DoDDS for 5 years. Tanya has served as an educator for a total of 37 years.
- DANIELLE COULANGES
  Danielle has been a French Teacher at Summer Creek High School for the past 5 years. Before coming to SCHS, she was the French Teacher at Ross Sterling Middle School for 4 years, and was a RELA Teacher at Timberwood Middle School for 2 years. Danielle has served as an educator for a total of 11 years.
- JOE EHRHARDT
  Joe has been a Science Teacher at Kingwood Park High School for the past 12 years. Before coming to KPHS, he taught at Atascocita High School for 3 years and at Humble High School for 7 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Joe taught and coached in Louisiana at Natchitoches, Shreveport, New Roads, and Zachary for 20 years. Joe has served as an educator for a total of 42 years.
- KAY FARRIS
  Kay has been a Kingwood High School Counselor for the past 12 years. Before coming to KHS, she was a Counselor at Hidden Hollow Elementary for 5 years, and was a Special Education Teacher at Humble High School for 3 years. Before coming to Humble ISD she was a Special Education Teacher in Alabama and Tennessee, and a School Counselor in Tennessee. Kay has served in education for a total of 42 years.
- EDWARD R. FELLOWS
  Edward has been a bus driver for Humble ISD for the past 6 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, he worked in Reed Custer Community School District for 5 years, Illinois Central School District for 2 years, and Garnder South Wilmington School District -Illinois for 8 years. Edward has served in supporting education for a total of 21 years.
- PRISCILLA FISHER
  Priscilla has been a Third Grade Teacher at Elm Grove Elementary for the past 9 years. Before coming to EGE, she taught third grade at River Pines Elementary for 3 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Priscilla taught in Splendora ISD for 3 years and at Katy ISD for 18 years. Priscilla has served as an educator for a total of 33 years.
- KATHY FUNDERBURK
  Kathy has been an AP Secretary at West Lake Middle School for the past 3 years. Before coming to WLMS, she was an Attendance and AP Secretary at Atascocita Middle School for 23 years and was an AP Secretary at Woodcreek Middle School for 8 years. Kathy has served as an educator for 34 years.
- BETHANY HARPER
  Bethany has been an Assistant Principal at Pine Forest Elementary for the past 5 years. Before coming to PFE she was and Assistant Principal at Shadow Forest Elementary for 6 years, a RELA ALT at SFE for 4 years, and a Classroom Teacher at SFE for 4 years. Before coming to Humble ISD Bethany was a Classroom Teacher and Reading Specialist in Cy-Fair ISD for 9 years. Bethany has been an educator for a total of 28 years.
- MARTHA HOPPE
  Martha has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Oak Forest Elementary for the past 5 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, she taught for 23 years in Pasadena ISD. Martha has served as an educator for a total of 28 years.
- KAREN KENNEDY
  Karen has been the Social Studies Academic Lead Teacher at Woodcreek Middle School for the past 10 years. Before that she was the Cheer Coach and a 6th Grade World Cultures Teacher at WMS for 2 years, an ELA and World Cultures Teacher at Atascocita Middle School for 5 years, 3rd Grade GT Cluster Teacher at Pine Forest Elementary for 3 years, and was a 1st Grade Teacher at Greentree, Willow Creek and Pine Forest Elementary schools for 10 years. Karen has served as an educator in Humble ISD for a total of 30 years.
- BRENDA KIRCHOFF
  Brenda has worked in the Internal Audit Department as Director's Administrative Assistant for the past 2 1/2 years. Before that, Brenda served in many positions across the district: Jack Fields Elementary, CSTA Itinerant, Humble High School Assistant Principal's Secretary, Atascocita High School Bookkeeper, Fine Arts Department, Humble High School Attendance Office, Atascocita Springs Elementary Secretary/Bookkeeper, and Humble High School Associate Principal's Secretary. Brenda also worked in Pulaski County School District in Arkansas for 2 years. Brenda has served in education for a total of 22 years.
- GIL LUBECKE
  Gil has been a Math Co-teacher and Basic Math Teacher at Humble Middle School for the pase 4 years. Before coming to HMS, he was a Math Co-teacher and Basic Math Teacher at Kingwood Park High School for 4 years, a Math, Music and Credit Recovery Teacher at Cambridge School for 2 years, and a Math Co-Teacher at Humble High School for 4 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Gil was a Basic Math Teacher at Aldine ISD for 8 years, and a Music Teacher in Channelview ISD for 2 years. Gil has served as an educator for a total of 24 years.
- CHRIS McCOMB
  Chris has been the Head Girls Soccer Coach and a Chemistry Teacher at Summer Creek High School for the past year. Before coming to Humble ISD, Chris served 4 years at Dayton ISD, 2 years at Angleton ISD, 4 years at New Caney ISD, 1 year at Hutto ISD, 5 years at Leander ISD, 4 years at Austin ISD, 1 year at Round Rock ISD, 2 years at Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, 1 year at Midred ISD, 1 year at Terrell ISD, 1 year at Bridgeport ISD, and 1 year at Lake Travis ISD. He has served as an educator for a total of 28 years.
- MARGIE McGUFFY
  Margie has been a teacher at Woodland Hills Elementary for the past 8 years. Before coming to WHE, she taught at Fall Creek Elementary for 2 years and at Maplebrook Elementary for 1 year. Before coming to Humble ISD she taught in Naperville CUISD 203 in Illinois for 20 years. Margie has served as an educator for a total of 31 years.
- PRISCILLA J. MIKA
  Priscilla has been the Head Orchestra Director at Timberwood Middle School for the past 21 years. She has served as an educator for a total of 21 years.
- DARCY PETZOLD
  Darcy has been a teacher at Eagle Springs Elementary for the past 14 years. She was District Teacher of The Year in 2020-21. Before coming to Humble ISD, Darcy taught in Conroe ISD for 2 years, in CyFair ISD for 1 year, Midland ISD for 2 years, Bayfield, CO for 2 years, and in North Allegheny, PA for 2 years. Darcy has served as an educator for a total of 20 years.
- JOHNA PEYTON
  Johna has been a Special Education Interventionist at Elm Grove Elementary for the past 8 years. Before coming to EGE she taught at River Pines Elementary for 3 years and at Lakeland Elementary for 3 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Johna taught in Houston area school districts and state schools in Austin and Lufkin for 14 years. Johna has served as an educator for a total of 39 years.
- SANCY RHODES
  Sancy has been a 2nd Grade Teacher at Foster Elementary for the past year. Before that, she also taught 1st Grade, PreK, Kingergarten at Foster Elementary for a total of 16 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Sancy taught at Hidden Valley Elementary (now Goodman Elementary) in Aldine ISD for 8 years. Sancy has served as an educator for a total of 24 years.
- JULIE SAHMEL
  Julie has been the Student Leadership Coordinator at Summer Creek High School for the past 12 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, she was an English teacher at RS Sterling High School and was an English/Language Arts Secondary Specialist in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at Goose Creek ISD for 8 years. Julie has served in education for a total of 21 years.
- MARIA C. SANDOVAL
  Maria has been a Bilingual Special Education Teacher at Park Lakes Elementary for 6 years. Before that, she taught for 6 years at River Pines Elementary. Before coming to Humble ISD she was an Instructional Assistant for 5 years at Victor Vally High School, Victorville, CA and a Special Education Teacher for 10 years at Silverado High School in Victorville, CA. Maria has served as an educator for a total of 27 years.
- PAMELA SNAPP
  Pamela has been a Science Academic Lead Teacher at Kingwood High School for the past 14 years. She taught Chemistry at KHS from 1983-1988, and returned to teaching at KHS in 2004.   Derry has been the Librarian at Bear Branch for the past 14 years. Before coming to BBE, she was a 4th Grade Teacher at Hidden Hollow Elementary for 12 years, and at Summerwood Elementary she was a Teacher for one year and a Librarian for 2 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Derry was a Bilingual Teacher and an after-school Music Teacher for 3 years in Harlingen CISD, and a Bilingual Kindergarten, Bilingual 2nd grade, Special Education, and 4th Grade Teacher.   Camie has been a 3rd Grade Teacher at Summerwood Elementary for the past 8 years. Before teaching 3rd grade at SWE, she taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and SPED for a total of 17 years. Before coming to SWE, she was a 1st and 2nd Grade Teacher at Oaks Elementary for 9 years, and a 2nd Grade Teacher at Maplebrook Elementary for 3 years. - YVONNE WALKER
  Yvonne has been an Humble ISD Special Education Coordinator for the past 21 years. She came to Humble ISD in 1999, and since that time she has coordinated a variety of programs in the ESS division resulting in positive impact for students with disabilities. She provided district-wide professional development, procured appropriate curriculum resources for campuses, assisted teachers through instructional coaching, managed the Extended School Year Program and more recently served as the MOSAIC Program Coordinator at the Cambridge School. Prior to coming to Humble ISD, Yvonne was a districtwide Special Education Coordinator for 10 years in Houston ISD, a school counselor in North Forest ISD for 5 years, a secondary Life Skills teacher for 4 years also in North Forest ISD, and a Special Needs Instructor and QMRP for adult residents with disabilities at a state school and hospital in Alabama. Yvonne has served in education for a total of 41 years. Yvonne recently received a Proclamation from the City of Humble for her dedicated years of service, and Friday, December 18, 2020 has been declared “Yvonne Walker Day.”

  Mike has been the Coordinator of State and Federal Programs for the past 1.5 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Mike was the Coordinator of State and Federal Programs in Tomball ISD and also in Aldine ISD. Mike has served in public education for a total of 38 years.
- GLADIS WASHINGTON
  Gladis has been the Senior Compensation Clerk in Human Resources for the past 10 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, she served in North Forest ISD for 14 years and in Beaumont ISD for 10 years. Gladis has served in education for a total of 34 years.
- JIM WOODS
  Jim has been the Maintenance Crafts Supervisor for the past 10 years. Jim started with Humble ISD as a temporary Summer Painter’s Helper. He then came on as a full time employee for the Grounds Crew. After 1 Year Jim was promoted to the Grounds Crew Leader. Jim went on to become the Kingwood High School Building Mechanic for two years. For the next 16 years Jim was the district painter and was part of the Maintenance on Demand (MOD) Crew. He has served in Humble ISD for a total of 30 years.

  Hidden Hollow Elementary bids farewell to Cindy Hunt, their Assistant Principal for the past 10 years. Before coming to HHE, Cindy was an Assistant Principal at Timbers for 5 years, and a Special Education Teacher at Hidden Hollow for 11 years. Before coming to Humble ISD Cindy taught in Klein ISD for 9 years. She has served as an educator for a total of 35 years.
- RON STUMP
  Ron has been a Teacher and Coach at Atascocita for the past 5 years. Before coming to AHS, he taught and coached in various places for 29 years. Ron has served as an educator for 34 years.
- JEURGEN ACHTERMANN
  Juergen has been a Varsity Gymnastics Coach for the past 34 years. He is retiring as the Varsity Coach at Atascocita High School. Juergen has served as a Varsity Gymnastics Coach at Atascocita High School, Humble High School, and Kingwood High School. He coached athletes to the State Finals each and every year since 1982, earning the distinction of being the most consistently winning coach in Humble ISD history.

  Ella has been a counselor at Timberwood Middle School for the past 10 years. Prior to her work at TMS, Ella was at Kingwood Middle School for 5 years, Humble Middle School for 4 years, and TMS for 6 years. She has served in education for a total of 25 years.

  Eileen has been the Secretary at Bear Branch Elementary for the past 12 years. Before taking the secretarial position, she was a Special Education Para. Eileen has served in education for a total of 21 years.

  Katherine has been the Child Nutrition Manager at Summer Creek High School for 6 years. Before she helped open the SCHS campus, Katherine was manager at AMS and KMS. Before becoming manager at AMS, she was first a Child Nutrition Specialist. She has served in Child Nutririon for a total of 22 years.

  Judy has been the CATE Bookkeeper for the past 11 years. Before coming to CATE, she was the Principal's Secretary and Bookkeeper at North Belt Elementary. Before coming to Humble ISD, Judy worked in Ft. Bend ISD as the Construction and Maintenance Secretary for 3 years, in Alief ISD for 12 years; first at Elsik High School, then Holub Middle School and finally as Principal's Secretary at Hastings High School. Judy has served in education for a total of 28 years.

Jackie spent 7 years in Mansfield ISD as a 1st, 2nd and 4th grade teacher and 7 years in Pasadena ISD serving as a 1st grade teacher. She has served as an educator for a total of 30 years.

  Deborah has been the Math ALT at Eagle Springs Elementary for the past 4 years. She helped open ESE in 2006. Prior to becoming Math ELT, she was a 4th Grade Math/Science/SS at ESE for 6 years. Prior to her work in Humble ISD, Deborah taught elementary & middle school P.E., and was a girls track coach for 4 years in Springfield, Illinois, and she taught 5th grade for 2 and a half years in West Frankfort, Illinois.   Betsy has been the ELT serving ESL students and GT students at Woodland Hills Elementary for the past 4 years. Also at WHE she was the Math Coach for 2 years, ESL Lead/Math Coach for 2 years, ESL Lead/Interventionist/Writing Coach for 2 years, 3rd Grade Teacher for 3 years, 2nd Grade Teacher for 7 years, and was the WHE Teacher of the Year for 2004-2005. Before coming to Humble ISD, Betsy taught PreK4 and Kindergarten at St. Martha Catholic School-Kingwood for 2 years, and PreK3 and PreK4 at Holy Comforter Lutheran Preschool-Kingwood for 7 years.   Cynthia has been an Educational Diagnostician in Humble ISD for 15 years. Before coming to Humble ISD she was a Diagnostician at Big Thicket Cooperative for Special Education, serving West Hardin ISD and Lumberton ISD. Before that she was a Diagnostician for 4 years in Beaumond ISD and for 2 years at Lamar University. Cynthia has served in education for a total of 36 years.

  Royce has been the Head Boys Basketball Coach and a Geometry Teacher at Kingwood High School for the past 32 years.
- REX INMAN
  Rex has served as a DAEP and PACE Teacher and IT at the Community Learning Center for the past 28 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, he taught in Fort Worth ISD for 1 year. Rex said he has 27 years in the U.S. Navy and 29 years in Teaching, and is retiring to spend more time with Susan.

  Linda has served as the Interventionist and Dyslexia teacher at River Pines Elementary for the past year. Prior to that she was a Special Education Teacher for 2 years at RPE, a SPED teacher at Lakeland Elementary for 12 years, and an Adaptive Behavior/Behavior Intervention Teacher at LLE for 3 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Linda was an Adaptive Behavior teacher in Spring ISD for 2 1/2 years. Linda has served as an educator for a total of 20 1/2 years.

Before coming to Humble ISD, Marlene was the bookkeeper for a Catholic school in New Orleans, LA for 2 years. She has served in education for a total of 18 years.

Before coming to CMS, Carol was a Physical Education Teacher at Willow Creek Elementary for 6 years, and prior to that she was a PE Aide at WCE for 4 years. Before that, Sherri came to Humble ISD as a PE Aide at Woodland Hills Elementary in 1991 then moved into the WHE front office. Sherri later worked at Quest High School and Riverwood Middle School. Sherri became Administrative Assistant to Associate Superintendent John Miller and Assistant Superintendent John Widmier, then later for Assistant Superintendents Cecilia Hawkins and Paula Doebele.   Donna has been a RELA teacher at Atascocita Middle School for the past 10 years. Before coming to AMS, she taught at Whispering Pines for 7 years and at Humble Middle School for 7 years for a total of 24 years in Humble ISD. - TERRY HARSHAW
  Terry has been a teacher in Humble ISD for 17 years. Her first 8 years were spent teaching science at Timberwood Middle School where she was chosen as Campus Teacher of the Year and District Finalist in 2003. She transferred to Lakeland Elementary as a Science Coach for 5 years in 2010 and was honored there as Campus Teacher of the Year. Terry was honored as District Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2009. Shortly after, she was recruited by Rice University to teach in the REMSL program in partnership with HISD. She returned to TMS to finish her career were she has spent the last 3 years teaching science and loving her students. Terry has been an educator for a total of 17 years.

  Didi was the Librarian at Humble Middle School for the past 10 years. Before coming to HMS, she was the librarian at Whispering Pines Elementary for 15 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Didi worked at Francis Elementary and Teague Middle School in Aldine ISD for 15 years, and before coming to Texas she was a 6th grade teacher in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana for 4 years.   Paige has been a Digital Learning Specialist/IT Specialist for the past 16 years. Before joining the Technology Department, Paige taught English and Journalism at Kingwood High School for 4 years, and she taught English and Journalism and was also the campus IT at Humble High for 10 years. Paige has served as an educator in Humble ISD for a total of 30 years.

  Brenda was a Math Teacher and Assistant Gymnastics Coach at Kingwood High School for 22 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, Brenda taught at Scarborough High School and Teh High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice in Huston ISD for 4 years. While in Houston ISD, Brenda taught math and sponsored several clubs, including Student Council. She served as the Scarborough High Swimming and Diving Coach. Before that, Brenda taught math at Crosby High School for 4 years, sponsoring several clubs and organizing the homecoming parade and honors nights. She worked as a para educator at Woodland Hills Elementary for 3 years before going to Lakeland Elementary, where she worked for 10 years as a classroom teacher and Reading Recovery teacher. She worked at Humble Elementary for 3 years as a classroom teacher and literacy coach. She trained through Literacy Collaborative for two years and helped pilot this program at Humble Elementary. While at KHS, Carol was a Math Teacher from 1979-1999, a Math Department Chair from 1999-2012, and Math Department Manager from 2012-2014. Before coming to Hidden Hollow, Deborah was a PE teacher at Woodland Hills Elementary for 2 years as a Physical Education Para-educator. Before coming to Humble ISD, Deborah was a 6th Grade PE teacher in Aldine ISD for one year. She has served in education for a total of 27 years.

  Special assignment, Public Information Office. Allan joined Humble ISD in 1978. He taught at Humble Middle School and Atascocita Middle School; He was Purchasing Assistant Director; Transportation Assistant Director; and Special Projects for Public Information and Community Development offices. Allan was also President of the Humble High School Alumni Association. He has served in Humble ISD for more than 35 years.

  Life Skills Teacher at Pine Forest Elementary for 28 years. Carla joined the Humble ISD Family in 1984, and for 2 years she was the only elementary Life Skills teacher in the district. Before coming to Humble ISD, Carla taught Life Skills in Pasadena ISD for 2 years. She taught in Little Rock, AR, for a year and was the director of the Oxford Child Development Center in Oxford, MS, for 7 years. Carla has served as a Special Educator for 40 years.

  Timbers Elementary School Counselor. Dolly has served as a counselor at Timbers for the past 34 years. Before coming to TE, she did student teaching and then taught kindergarten and 3rd grade at Humble Elementary for 3 years, and taught kindergarten at Oaks Elementary for one year. Dolly has served as an educator for 38 years, all in Humble ISD.

  Assistant Director of Child Nutrition Services for the past 9 years. Beverly worked in Child Nutrition Services for a total of 26 years. Before coming to Humble ISD, she taught for 5 years in the Territory of Guam and worked for 6 years in Child Nutrition in Baton Rouge, LA. Beverly has served in education for a total of 37 years.

  Humble High School Counselor for more than 25 years. Part of that time was at H-9, the freshman campus of Humble High. Before HHS, Phyllis served as a counselor at Foster Elementary for 3 1/2 years. Prior to her work in Humble ISD, Phyllis taught for a year at Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, VA and taught chemistry and also served as a counselor for 4 years at York High School in Yorktown, VA. He has 16 district championships, 8 in football, 6 in basketball, one in baseball and one in golf. Larry has a total of 31 years in education.

  Special Education Interventionist at Pine Forest Elementary. Sherri taught at PFE for 27 years. She is the last "original" teacher that helped open the school.
