    Applications to join Psi Alpha Psychology National Honor Society are due on February 4th.  Check the Psi Alpha website for details, or see Mrs. Sano.

     

    The Talent Show is February 13th.  If you’d like to perform go to the class of 2020 website. Deadline is today.

     

    Tuesday is National Puzzle Day! Which means it’s time for the Library's 4th Annual KHS Puzzle Competition.   Form your own team of 6, or sign up individually in the library. The maximum number of teams is 8, so don't get left out. Sign up in the library this week. The competition will take place in the library during 1Lunch on Tuesday, January 29. There will be cool prizes!!

     

    Seniors you need to order your cap and gown from Balfour.com… or they will be on campus to take your order on Feb 8th.  Everyone must order this year because of a company change.  There will be a late fee after March 8th.  See Ms. Davidson for any questions.

    The Kingwood Crewneck shirts are being sold to ALL students, family and friends this week during lunch. If you pre-ordered one, just come by the cafeteria and pick them up. If you would like to purchase one, they are $20 and are being sold in the cafeteria, but there is a limited amount so stop by soon.

     

    The Kingwood High School Talent Show is February 13th and if you are interested in participating, go to the class of 2020 website and sign up using the link. Deadline to sign up is this Friday. There will be prizes for the winners.”

     

    Attention Service Learning Members:

    Yearbook pictures will be taken today in the Commons at 3:50. Please wear your club t-shirt.

    The Psychology Club welcomes Guest Speaker Mrs. Tricia King from Lifetime Fitness this Thursday, January 24th.  Please bring a bag lunch and join the Psychology Club in LGI 2210 as Mrs. King speaks to us about how our mind and body are connected, how to practice mindfulness in pursuit of our goals and dreams and how Yoga is used for overall mental and physical health.

    Get help with the college admissions process in the college room on Fridays starting today, but you need to sign up. 

     

    Freshman:  Please remember to bring the signed permission slip and Houston Food Bank Waiver Form to your House Office by Tuesday December 4th.

     

    Attention all National Technical Honor Society new members and current members. If you missed the mandatory meeting yesterday you need to stop by Ms. Collins, Mr. Jolley or Ms. Virani's room today. Induction Night is Monday Dec. 3rd.

    Teenage Republicans will host Kathleen Wall next Friday during A lunch in room 4111.

     

    There is still a chance to read, spell, and compete for KHS in UIL English competition.  Literary Criticism and Spelling have open spots.  Meet in room 2409 during A block on Tuesdays.  See Mr. Bradley for details.

     

    Attention bike riders:  the new bike racks have been installed.  All bikes must now be parked and secured behind the school on the bike racks where they are covered by cameras.  Bikes can no longer be locked to a fence or parked anywhere else on campus.  Violators will have their bikes tagged.
