WELCOME BACK returning Cubs and new Cubs!  I am so excited to be your Gifted & Talented teacher this school year!!  I know it will be an exciting year of growth, new discoveries and building lasting memories!
I am a native Houstonian and live in the Kingwood area with my husband and 6 year old son Liam who's in 1st grade.  My husband Paul Touchstone is also a teacher at WCE.  We LOVE to travel and we have a camper that we have enjoyed taking state to state.  We hope to have our son visit all 50 states before he goes to college!!  Some of my favorite travels have been in France and Germany.  I am a proud graduate of the University of Houston (go COOGS!!) and love photography and nature.  This is my 14th year teaching and 5th year at RCE and I am so privileged to be a part of the Cub family!!  I've taught 4th and 5th grade, and this is my 6th year as a GT lead teacher.  It is an honor to have this opportunity to work with our gifted learners!

It may look different than in years past, but we are committed to providing for the needs of our students."
