MAKE THE ARTS MORE VISIBLE IN YOUR SCHOOL!Want to meet students who share your passion for the Visual Arts? Want to participate in service learning opportunities in school and your community? Then the National Art Honor Society and Art Service Club are for you! The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed specifically for high school students in grades 9-12. In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the National Art Honor Society program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.
Students must be invited to join NAHS. Requirements for membership are: successful completion of at least one semester of high school art class and a minimum B average in all current art courses.
The Art Service Cub assists the NAHS in projects. Art Service Club is open to any high school student.
