• I am delighted to be teaching 6th grade math this year.  I am looking forward to a very successful year and I know you are too.  I have high expectations for your child and I will do all that I can to help your child achieve those expectations.

Math is a very demanding course. Each student will need to be prepared for class by bringing a composition notebook, 1 -3 prong plastic folder, and 2 pencils each day.  There will be homework assignments 4 nights a week.   I am asking for your help to assist your child with meeting those high expectations.

    CLASSROOM VISION STATEMENT

All students will be driven by the transformative power of education.  Not only will they be empowered with the skills, knowledge, and passion necessary to complete school, but they will also become articulate, pensive, and resilient citizens for the rest of their lives.

    BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

All students will follow the classroom rules and help to create a positive learning environment for themselves and their classmates.

    CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

    1. Follow directions the first time given.
    2. Raise your hand and get permission before speaking or leaving your seat.
    3. Respect everyone in your words and actions.
