    Welcome to my class, la clase del Dr. Merchán. It is my goal that you all have a great experience with the Spanish language and each one of the Spanish cultures. It is my hope that at the end of the year you will gain an understanding and a deeper love for this beautiful Romance language. The Spanish language and cultures will enrich you both as a student and as a person. 

    The AP courses are designed to prepare and equip you for your AP exams.

    The objective in this class is for you to gain knowledge and confidence in the Castilian language by practicing and developing the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
