Humble ISD Physical Education Mission Statement: All school aged children will participate in a physical education program that will increase physical competence, health-related fitness, and self-responsibility so that they can establish physical activity as a natural part of everyday life.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, but moved to Humble due to my husband's job.  This is my 20th year teaching but my 6th year here in Humble at Fall Creek Elementary.  While in San Antonio, I taught 3rd grade for five years and then moved into physical education where this will be my 15th year.  I have been married to my husband Jeffrey for 19 years and have 2 children, Katharine and Jacob.

I believe Physical Education is one of the most important classes your child will take.  Not only will they learn to be healthier individuals in my class, but they will also be taught valuable life skills such as cooperation, positive attitudes, and perseverance. I hope to provide your children with a solid foundation in motor development, sports, team work, and positive self-esteem.  And last but not least...we will have fun!!
I want to keep all children as active as possible.  If students need to sit out due to illness or injury, please send a note.  A doctor's note is necessary if your child needs to sit out for more than three days.
Tennis shoes are required on PE days!!  This is for your child's safety.  Shoes like flip flops, boots, sandals, and heel-less or toe-less shoes are dangerous during physical activity.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have during the year.  I'd also appreciate any feedback to help make your students' experience in PE extraordinary!
