• Hello KMS Family! I am very excited to begin this 2021-2022 school year with our incoming 6th graders! I will also enjoy seeing our returning 7th and 8th grader students! Let’s make this school year ONE for the books, Cougars!

I grew up in the small town of West, Texas with my mother, father and sister. You may recognize my hometown from its famous kolaches at Czech Stop! I spent most of childhood participating in sports and striving to follow in my father’s career path in education. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. After teaching in Fort Worth for two years, I made the best decision in moving to the Houston area and starting my job at Kingwood Middle School. This will be my 7th year at Kingwood Middle School, and my 9th year overall in education. I have taught math and science in grades 6th and 8th, as well as, be a math Academic Lead Teacher (ALT) for a couple years. While teaching, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership through Stephen F. Austin University!

I enjoy playing intramural sports in downtown Houston, traveling to spend time with my family (specifically my niece and nephew, Hannah and Colton), and spending time with friends.

I believe we can keep KMS being GREAT for students, teachers, parents, and the community by working as a united team! I will be working with all 6th grade students this year.
