    ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL PROCEDURES REMINDER!

PFE opens for supervision of students at 7:30 a.m. daily.

For student safety, please do not leave your child outside unsupervised prior to 7:30 a.m.  When the doors open, students report directly to classrooms or to the cafeteria for breakfast.  The school day begins with instruction starting at 8:00 a.m.

The school day ends at 3:20 p.m.

Your promptness in picking up your child is very important.

Supervision is not provided after 3:45.  The front office closes at 4:00 p.m.

Dismissal will be at the same time and location daily, rain, shine, sleet, or snow.  In the event of bad weather, walkers and bikers will be held at the school in the front hall until parent picks up student or weather clears.  Parents, please discuss a bad weather day plan with your child(ren).

    Attention Parents/Guardians!

Please remember to report your child's absences to the school.

In the event your child is absent, parents MUST call 281-641-2119 to report an absence. As stated in the Humble ISD Parent/Student handbook, a written excuse for absence is required upon returning to school. Please submit the absence excuse in writing or by email to the Registrar, lisa.king@humble.k12.tx.us or your child's classroom teacher.

Attendance policy and laws are discussed in the Humble ISD Parent/Student Handbook

    on pages 23-27.

If possible, please schedule medical and dental appointments after school. This will minimize loss of valuable instructional time for your child, as well as classroom disruption.
