It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write this introduction to you as the new Foster Elementary Assistant Principal. I completed my undergraduate studies at LSU and graduate studies at UTA. When I moved to the area 18 years ago, I was fortunate enough to join the Humble ISD Family. I began my Humble education career at Lakeland Elementary, from there I went to Eagle Springs Elementary, and most recently I was the Literacy Academic Lead Teacher at River Pines Elementary. Throughout the years, I have worn many hats, all of which have equipped me to be a better educator. Twice I have been campus teacher of the year and twice I’ve been a top 10 finalist for district teacher of the year. I am very grateful for the many blessings I have been fortunate enough to receive. My husband and I have 2 sons and I am very proud to say they are products of Humble ISD. When I am not working you can find me cheering them on at the baseball fields. I am thrilled to become a member of the Foster Elementary School Community and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child(ren) have a high quality educational elementary experience.
