If you did not take your senior picture for the yearbook, the make-up day will be Oct. 15 in the Blue LGI. You will need to go during your off period or during lunch. Boys, wear a white shirt and tie (shirts and ties will be provided if needed). Girls, wear a nice outfit that does not have a collar. Participation is free and voluntary. Register now through September 6. Please see Mrs. McDonald if you have any questions.

    Come support your Eagle Volleyball team this Friday, September 20th as we take on Summer Creek at Summer Creek. This will be a "White Out" game so dress in white and come support your team. Freshman play at 4:30, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 6:30.  Hope to see you there.

    Rainbow 6 Siege players! The AHS Esports team is hosting tryouts to play for our own R6 team on Saturday, September 14th. We will be hosting it on pc and it will be online playing in custom matches with randomly decided teams to determine the official AHS R6 PC team. Individuals will be judged based on aim, map knowledge, teamwork skills, patience, and their ability to make proper callouts at the right times. We are excited to recruit new members and best of luck to all!

    PS4 R6 Tryouts will be held on Sept. 13th from 6 pm to 8 pm

    The AHS Black Student Union will have their first official meeting of the 2019-2020 School Year this Thursday, September 12, 2019, in Room T17-ISS at 3:00 pm. ALL students are more than welcome to come to fellowship and become a member. Please be on time!!! If you have any questions, please ask Mr. Tatum.

    Attention Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen: Your yearbook photos will be taken Sept. 24-27. You will take your photos during your English class, so look your best. Order forms will be going home shortly.

    This week is Gold, Fight, Win week! We play Kingwood this Friday at 7 at Turner Stadium. Come out & support! 

    AHS will be offering the ASVAB to 10th, 11th and 12 graders on September 25, 2019. ASVAB is designed to help students explore their career options and make a plan for after high school. Participation is free and voluntary. Register now through September 6. Please see Mrs. McDonald if you have any questions.

    Attention juniors! It is time to register for the PSAT. The test will be given during school on October 16th and costs only $18. Register online by September 18th through the AHS testing website. See Mrs. McDonald in Upstairs Blue 2619 for more information.

    Attention Seniors: Yearbook photos will be Sept. 9-10 during your English classes in the Blue LGI. If you are a senior and don't have an English class, you can go during lunch or your off period. Senior Boys: Wear a white, collared shirt with a tie. White shirts and ties will be provided if needed. Senior Girls: Wear a nice outfit that doesn't have a collar. All seniors should dress up on both Monday and Tuesday to look your best. It's the Senior "A" Way!

    If you have a Dhall to serve, you will now line up across from Red House 2 by the Bookroom.

    Our first Blood Drive hosted by Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and AHS HOSA is next Wednesday and Thursday, September 18 and 19. If you are interested in donating blood, please sign up with a HOSA member during all lunches through Tuesday, September 17th.     HOSA will be hosting their first Spirit Night this Friday, September 13th, from 4 - 7:00 pm at Big City Wings in Humble. Come out and support HOSA, and eat some wings before cheering on the Football team later that night against Kingwood!
