All elementary school ages children will participate in a physical education program that will increase physical competence, health-related fitness, and self responsibility so that they can establish physical activity as a natural part of everyday life.
To develop personal activity and fitness habits, enhance movement principles and motor skills, and to gain an appreciation of how and why the body functions. Please remember to wear tennis shoes on PE days. Water bottles are allowed, but must have a lid, no straw and a name on them. HEALTHY ACTIVE KIDS MAKE BETTER LEARNERS!"
Physical education is not just for school. Research shows that youth engagement in physical activity is influenced by participation and support of parents and siblings. When families are active together, they spend additional time together and experience health benefits. Please join us in getting your children physically active a minimum of 60 minutes every day!
